Ah, that's right. Even worse ! (He is such a closet [conservative] Republican!) We come in all shapes and forms.

I realize that came out weird. I have no problem with closets, Republicans or Conservatives. Whatever floats your boat. BUT he was riding the Dem ticket as a Rep/Con by policy......imo. I just wasn't comfortable with all of that.

I thought it was funny how you said it. You didn't offend me at all.

OK good...always good to clarify when you're talking politics - don't know who you're going to offend (unwillingly, of course).

Hellllsssss Yeah!!!!!!
Ditto!!!
My philosophy is basically "anyone but Hilllary"
I'm curious, what don't you like about her?
Basically, everything. I don't agree with her positions on topics, don't respect her at all and don't believe a word that comes out of her mouth.

Hillary - she's more experienced.
Obama is giving some very interesting speeches lately comparing himself to Lincoln - they're both from Illinois and Lincoln had even less experience when he became president - and some argue that he was the best president in history.
But I still like Joe Biden - and either one for VP.

Re: Hillary vs Obama - who would have your vote ?
Clinton has been responsive to constituent inquiries from my clients, and has been ever since she was elected. Some people get lost in the cracks of the bureaucracy in their disability cases, to the extent that we submit the same papers 15 times, never to have them processed. I sometimes hint that clients should contact an elected official. The ONLY thing the elected official can do is to inquire about the matter. But when they do that, papers magically become "un-lost." Clinton's office will send the letter of inquiry on behalf of a constituent. Some elected officials ignore constituents.
I would remember this at election time but first I have to read more about some of the other hot issues.
