holiday gift/money - babysitter
My babysitter, who primarily takes care of my 1 year old twins - works for us two days a week only. She's been with us a year. This year, she's coming Xmas eve - I'll pay her for full day, but she'll do half only. I also paid her for full day on Thanksgiving but gave her day off. How much give for holiday bonus? I've been out of work last three months and things are a little tight. Is one day's pay ok? Less?
TIA

I would say Yes. Anything anybody gives is always appreciated.

Normally gave one weeks pay as a holiday bonus, but if money is tight then give what you think is right and can afford.

I agree with this. IMO I think its ridiculous to have to get give one weeks pay that can be a lot of money for some people. Also no one should ever expect any kind of gift/bonus/tip
