I made a Bailey's Salted Caramel Chocolate Pie to bring to my cousin's Christmas Day. It was delicious, not a slice left and there were a ton of desserts there!

Haha! Here it is! So good and easy. I also discovered an airplane bottle is 4 tablespoons!

Baileys Salted Caramel Chocolate Pie
Makes 8-10 servings.

Ingredients

6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup whipping cream
1 tablespoon sugar
2 fluid ounces (4 tablespoons) Baileys® with a hint of Caramel*
1 chocolate cookie pie crust
Coarse salt for sprinkling
Optional for garnishing: shaved chocolate, caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions

Melt chocolate chips according to package directions.
Let cool slightly.
Whip cream and sugar.
When soft peaks begin to form, gradually add Baileys with a hint of Caramel.
Gently mix in the melted chocolate.
Spread mixture into pie crust and sprinkle top with coarse salt.
Refrigerate for 4-6 hours.
*Substitute other Baileys flavors to create different versions.
This recipe contains no more than 0.6 fl. oz. of alcohol per serving.

I made scalloped potatoes that were delicious, but so bad for you. Lots of heavy cream and cheese. Also, made white chocolate peppermint cookies that my dh couldn't stop eating.

Re: Holiday successes/ failures?

I made a garlic mashed cauliflower recipe that made my house stink for 2 days and was way more prep, mess and clean than it should be and I found it very bland. I got the recipe from a magazine (All You) I think. But as much I hated it, my whole family loved it and were fighting over the leftovers so my holiday dish was both a failure and a success.

failures

my cookies this year for some bizarre reason I will blame on being pregnant lol.

first batch of homemade ST mozz sticks. too low temp and too long in the oven (what I get for not really reading the recipe lol)

stuffed mushrooms- Ina Gartens recipe. the filling was delicious but they needed a cheese topping or more time marinating the shrooms.

hits
ham
beef tenderloin with wine sauce
sausage lasagna
manicotti
bacon wrapped dates
sweet potato gratin
potato gratin
roasted potatoes (one of my Godson's called them "magical" from a 12-year-old, I'll take it haha)
mixed green salad
spicy brussel sprouts
sauteed green beans
