My bosses always through a nice party at Captain Bills with spouses invites & they treat...open bar & all!
We always go & always have a nice time!

Just got my invitation yesterday. It is at the Marriott Marqus. We are allowed to bring a guest.

As of yesterday we got a list of dates we have to vote on. Then will come a list of places. I didn't go last year. You pay your own way, and for your spouse too. I doubt I'll be going this year as well.

we always either have to plan our own..or go to one of the planned ones..but we always have to pay for it,so we can always brong spouses if we want, but alot of people do not..

we had ours at Larkfields last year and again this year, employees are free there spouses or guest is 20.00

My individual office doesn't do anything, but usually they have to do something with the other law firms on the floor. They usually go to a bar. This is my third year at my firm and I have never gone, the first year I had plans with my family, last year it was the transit strike, so I had to go thru NJ to get to DH to have him drive me home. This year I will be 5 months preggo and I can't phathom staying in Manhattan long enough to live through it.

One year, it was at the Garden City Hotel, and after dinner, our boss paid for everyone to go to Posh.....that was pretty cool.......Last year, our Christmas party was at Stresa East in Woodbury -- definitely more low-key, but the food was excellent...
