Holy expensive Dunkin' Donuts!
I went into Dunkin Donuts with the idea of doing something "nice" for my co-workers; bringing in an afternoon treat of munchkins or something. Not taking note of the price and having the lady load up a box of 25, I gasped when she said almost six bucks!!
Ah well, good intentions went right out the window and I'm taking those babies back to my OWN family tonight
Am I a total creep for NOT giving them to intended? (No one knew I was going to get them).

I have noticed that Dunkin has raised their prices alot.
especially the iced lattes, they are expensive and they put sooo much ice, i take 3 sips and its gone

I can't stand their lattes. They taste so watered down. I said this in the Starbucks thread a few weeks ago.
Not only do DD lattes taste bad, they are just as expensive as Starbucks lattes which are so much better tasting.

Their raising prices hit me when I tried to buy a Donut in Penn Station. It was like $1.10 or $1.20.
Donuts over a dollar now.

Bagel prices soared because of the price of cream cheese.
My local bagel shop raised their prices of bagels slightly. But the price of a bagel with cream chese is up almost a dollar.

I normally don't buy baked goods too often because I can't eat them without viscious side effects, but I was floored! Maybe my perception of things is skewed but the price of living is completely out of control. Between gas, utilities, food, etc., it's nuts! Didn't help that I got a pretty crap raise today AND got screwed out of my bonus

Look at it this way... at least you got a raise.. no matter how crappy! They decided not to give us our merit increases this year.. so NOW how am I going to afford the Munchkin inflation???

Believe me, I hear you There will be no more munchkin purchases of any kind going forward It's hard enough being a single Mom..you can't even afford the extras

It is ridiculous....DD was my first job at 15 & it was $2.25 for a dozen donuts then!
My coffee went up too...$2.16 now for a large coffee...up from $2.07 on Friday

the price of wheat has gone up substantially..
Bagel stores, pizza places, donut shops..
I bought a loaf of rye the other day from the bakery and it was $3!

You are lucky!! 1 dozen donuts at DD costs $8 here in Texas.  Each individual franchise sets their own prices and because there are only 2 in the entire DFW metroplex.

or if you get the $7.50 for 50 its like .15 a piece which isnt bad considering donuts are now $1 each...
plus i clip the coupons out of the pennysaver for buy 25($6.) get 25 free
