Home daycare
What is the "going rate" for a college-age babysitter during the day?
We will be having our 21 year old neighbor babysit for our 7 month old 2 days a week from 12-4pm.

I believe $10 per hr is the going rate. My friend uses a young girl for one day a wk and she pays her $10 for one kid and then $15 if she sends both.

Yeah- no housework at all. She just has to watch my 7 month old, maybe change a diaper. I don't want to be chincy, but also don't want to overpay since we'll be using her 2 days a week for awhile......
