Horseback riding?
DH and I are taking a trip to Texas the first week of November. I am due for AF around 10/30-11/1. If I do get a BFP I will be very very early. Would you horseback ride? Is it safe?

Re: Horseback riding?
I don't know for sure, as I am not a regular horseback rider, but I wouldn't risk it. I just remember learning that you're not supposed to be on a horse at all while pregnant, so I wouldn't even try it even in the beginning. Well, especially not in the beginning since that's when I assume that the fertilized egg is still not as strongly attached. I wouldn't want to be all bouncy & jerky and such and risk it detaching (although I may just be paranoid about that. lol)
Another reason why I wouldn't is just basically due to the risk of falling off. I mean, I've been advised not even to RUN while pregnant because it could seriously harm the child if I were to fall. So I would assume that riding horseback is even worse. I would think you should only do it if you are an experienced rider with a horse that you know and trust.
But I'm sure your doctor could give you some better advice than me. Why not call and ask?
