Hospital Bag Question-Nursing moms
Do I need to get Lanisoh and/or nursing pads or do they provide them in the hospital? I am trying to bring as little as possible. We live 5 minutes from the hospital and there is a huge mall there where DH can pick up this stuff if I need it. Thanks!

Last time they gave me several small samples of the Lashinosh. I don't remember needing breast pads, so I don't remember if they gave them to me.

I don't remember needing either when I was still in the hospital. Just make sure you have them for when you get home!

They'll have samples of Lansinoh cream there, you probably won't need the pads there since it will take a couple of days for your milk to come in and a couple of more days for your boobs to actually start leaking.

They provide you with everything. They gave me Lansinoh cream and then when my nips were really bad, they gave me these Ameda gel pads that were heaven! Just make sure you ask for some.

I didn't need them in the hospital. You won't get that engorged yet. And the boobies aren't beat up enough to need the Lansinoh yet. Make sure you have them in stock for when you get home.

The hospital gave me samples of Lansinoh. Your milk most likely won't be in by the time you leave the hospital so you don't have to worry about leaking and nursing pads.
