I delivered at WInthrop and had a GREAT L&D, Csection experience.
Would recommend my OB in a heartbeat. I use dr. dolisi and LOVED him!

Winthrop is wonderful. Had both my kids there, both c-sections. And yes, the snack cart is a wonderful thing-- they didn't have that when my first was born, but they did for my second so it must be relatively new.

I had a great experience in L&D at Winthrop but not the greatest in maternity. The time I delivered coincided with visiting hour changes on the maternity ward the nurses were upset about. They were all so coarse and annoyed except for one older nurse who was super kind.

had a good experience at NSUH. was there for 5 days, nurses were great

Done both. Love winthrop, hate NOrthShore. No kidding.
I think if I hadn't already done Winthrop I would not have known what I was missing. But I ended up switching docs, because there was no way I would deliver there after having experienced Winthrop. I went to the NS labor and delivery ward a lot due to various concerns, and was shocked how different it was.
