hosting mother's day brunch for the 1st time...
There will be 9 of us. I wouldnt say anyone except dh is a big eater. Im going to try the baked french toast casserole, doing a quiche, fruit salad, bacon and some kind of baked good. Any suggestions for a muffin or something? Im not sure what to bake. Do you think that's enough or should i get bagels too? Tia!

I don't think you need the bagels. We added bagels along with all of the other stuff you mentioned last year and we had WAY WAY too much food.
I would suggest a banana chocolate chip muffin or something like that.

I would def do bagels. you can cut them in half that way people who dont want a whole bagel can just take a piece. If theres leftover you can always freeze them. You can get a few diff types of cream cheese too. Other suggestions would be a regular salad, egg strata, danish, corn or blueberry muffins.

Thanks for the recipe/suggestion. I made these, eliminating the coconut and they were a huge hit. Yummy! i got bagels which were a total waste. I got 6, halved them and still they went untouched. And i didnt even make the bacon! The quiche, french toast, muffins and fruit salad was MORE than enough.

Aww, glad they went over well. Now I want to make them again!
