Hotel in NYC this weekend!!
Last minute trip planned...take the kids to NYC saturday and stay the night...I have been l looking on expedia and there are a few hotels that look nice and are not over $300. One was the HYATT but when I checked the bed bug registry it had some activity in 2010 but none since...its kind of turned me off though...
Anyone stay in an NYC hotel recently and if so any recommendations?

A friend stayed at the Marriott on 5th & 37th this past weekend and said it was great / not too expensive!

The Affinia Manhattan on 31st and 7th is really nice.
Also, we were in the city last week and went to Ellens Stardust Diner (by 51st and Broadway or maybe 8th??). It was so much fun, they have a singing waitstaff and the food was really good. I think it would be a really fun place for kids. The milkshakes are soooooo good!
