How can I find a reputable Boxer breeder?
My friend is set on getting a boxer puppy from a breeder (even though I have tried to convince her to rescue a dog from a shelter.) How can I help her find a reputable breeder and not just a backyard one? I have no idea where to start. TIA!

maybe start by looking at the Westminster Dog Show site - they might list them. otherwise, can she wait till february? she could go to the dog show (buy tix of course) visit "the benching area" and meet some of the people showing the dogs. they usually are breeders there who breed for show quality dogs and therefore do loads of research before breeding

MY husband's Aunt & Uncle are certified breeders, but they live in Texas and they just had puppies, which are seriously the cutest things. Sorry... I will ask them if they know of one closer.
