how common is a missed period when NOT pg?
So i just started to ttc about a month ago.
Last month I got my period, this month honestly havent even BD'd so i just expected my period like normal. I am never late, honetsly dont think i have even been more then a day maybe 2 late ever.
I was supposed to get my period on monday and still nothing, so weird i have all the signs that i should have it but still hasnt shown up yet..Just to be sure i took a pg test and it was negative.(thinking that i was pg and got my period anyway last month)
So im so confused as to why im not getting it..

i know so weird, but i did test yesterday and it was negative so if i was pg it would be like 8 weeks already and that would definetly show a positive now so i dont think im pg at all

did you change your diet? exercise? stressed out? all those things can delay getting af.

How 8 weeks already if you had AF last month? How long are your cycles? Have they consistently been the same length the last few months?
I had some random months where AF was 5 days late; but they started to follow a pattern.

 how would you be 8 weeks? if you got your period last month, and you O'd normally this month, at most you would be about 2 weeks pregnant, if that. Depending on where you are in your cycle, you may be testing too early. However, if AF isn't due until Monday, wait until Tuesday to test again.

She said she didn't BD this month so if she is pregnant it must be from last month. So she's counting from last month.

if u got ur period last month and did not dtd this month odds r u r not pregnant
if u dtd at all u def could be
i know it's hard but like u said this is the 2nd month u r ttc ...trust me when i say u will notice things that u never noticed before
twinges,cramps,feelings, and so many things can throw af off by a day or two

I was one who said I am never late and wasn't until I was TTC. The one month I was late I was so excited....I was convinced I was PG cause I had all the signs. I kept testing and it was always neg. I ended up being over a week late.
Anything can happen when TTC. just keeping testing .
