How did you prepare the egg yolk when giving to baby?

How did you prepare the egg yolk when giving to baby?
I scrambled (if you could call it that) it, thinned it in a little formula and put in some applesauce (at a friends recommendation). SNUBBED!
So, I was thinking about doing the same thing and putting it into oatmeal instead of applesauce. Thoughts? How did you do it for the first time?

What a great idea I've never done anything fancy just either plain scrambled or boiled the egg.

I tried scrambling it but he was not a fan, although he did eat it. Next time I plan on just boiling the egg.
JMO but I don't think anegg mixed with oatmeal or applesauce sounds yummy.

I just make hard boiled and then cut up the yolk and let her eat it plain- DD loves it!!

I did hard boiled first. (Hated it)
Then Scrambled (Again Hated it)
Starting to try it more and more now, but still doesn't really like it.
