How do I get DD to sleep? I am losing my mind!!!
Ok, I can't take it anymore. I haven't had a good nights sleep in over a month. I am 5 months pregnant and exhausted. DD will not sleep through the night and I feel like I have tried everything I can think of. She used to be the best sleeper...what happened? She is 14 months old and ever since about 8 months she's been the worst sleeper but lately its out of control. She has never been a good napper either. On a good day I can get one nap out of her for maybe 1/2 hour-1 hour. I've tried putting her to bed earlier (7:00pm) thinking she is just so exhausted she will sleep but she just wakes up screaming 4 hours later. No matter what time I put her to bed she only sleeps 4 hours. I have tried letting her CIO but the screams get louder and louder, longer and longer. She will not lay back down and put herself back to sleep. I've tried rocking her but she will fall back to sleep only for a short time. Dh and I have resorting to just putting her in bed with us. Now that I am getting bigger and so is she its not comfortable..therefore I get no sleep and Dh gets no sleep.
Please, any advice would be appreciated.

Re: How do I get DD to sleep? I am losing my mind!!!
I am going through the exact same thing. Our babies are about the same age, and I am 5 months pregnant as well. He has been in bed with us, but lately has been extremelly restless and waking up sooo often, even in bed with us.
Last night was the last straw for me. I have been sooooo uncomfortable, and because he is all over, I am sleeping on like 1/10 of the bed. So I put him in his crib (which mind you, is right next to our bed....we did this a couple of months ago to get him back in his crib, it worked for a short while) and let him scream. It was terrible. We probably only allowed it for no more than 5 minutes, but I hated it. Then we alternated rubbing his back (as he was doing those really sad quick breathes because he had been crying so much, which of course made me cry too). Anyway, he slept in his crib for an hour, and then was up again....I had to put him into the bed because I just couldn't take it anymore. He slept till 9 (he is usually up between 5:30-6). He was soooo exhausted.
If you find the miracle solution, please let me know

I totally feel for you! And every time I have let DD CIO I always end up crying too. It breaks my heart to see her so upset. I hope I/we can get some answers.
