how do i know what kind of formula to use?

Ds is very colicky and gassy. I'm planning to supplement one bottle a day to start. Right now he is BFing and getting BM in a bottle. I picked up something yesterday but wanted to get further opinions. What have you found works best for colic/gas?

What are the pros of using soy or non soy?

Thanks!

Kaydyn was very gassy from day 1 so when she was about 2 weeks old we switched to Similac Sensitive and she's had no problem since.

We actually tried the Soy first b/c we had a sample, but it seemed to go right through her. She would literally drink an entire bottle and then an hour later be hungry again so we tried the Sensitive.

I wouldn't start out with soy. But try Gentlease or Similac Sensitive.

I know my friend who is a NICU nurse says that Good Start is the most similar to BM if that helps!
