How do I wear my hair for an interview?
hah - so will this be moved to career OR fashion?!?!
I have 2 interviews tomorrow and 1 on Wednesday for my first "real job". I've been working at the same place for the past 4 years (all through college).
I'm wearing a professional yet fashionable herringbone jacket and black pants, closed-toe black pumps.
I'm not sure how to wear my hair. Its long - down to my bra strap - naturally wavy, doesn't withstand humidity too well. It really doesn't look so nice this length, but I need it to be long for my wedding. Trust me - its getting cut (and donated) shortly after!!!
It does NOT look professional down.
Need some suggestions, please!

All kidding aside - neat and down is nice, or a loose low bun if your hair is long enough!

A low ponytail would work too. Wear it a way that you won't have to fuss with it and that gives you confidence.
BUT every picture I have seen of you with your hair down looks great and I think it would be fine that way unless you are interviewing for a super conservative job and I hope that's not the case bc you seem too fun for that BS!

I would go conservative. Pony tail, bun or well groomed and "done" if let down.

ok - I'll either go with the low pony tail or bun...thanks for the compliments, but I just don't think it looks very nice down at this point. especially because my jacket is a little less conservative, I'd rather go more conservative with my hair.
and to the bald poster...w t f?!?!?!

I made sure I combed it out super straight, then did what the video showed. Then to dress it up, I added my Thomas Knoell flowers.

I think it looks fine down. If you're doing a ponytail, I would flip it inward so it looks like a chignon.

Thank you I'm going to flat iron it tonight and play.
I'm not OK with it down...I agree with you, Beth - I always play with it when I'm nervous, and it's HOT. No matter how much I flat iron, it curls up when it's humid.

I would go for this too. But anything pulled back looks professional, IMO.
