How do you know if DC has a food allergy?

Just wondering if I would be looking within that 3-4 day waiting period, what would I be looking for? How could I tell that DS is allergic to something? Is it just the obvious...rash, hives, anything swollen? Not that anything has happened at all, just wondering.

Ryan broke out in a rash all around his mouth the first time he had eggs and peanut butter. That's how we knew.

You want to look for changes in stool (if he has looser stools, constipation, etc.), vomiting, rashes, trouble breathing.

For us, every time I gave CJ peaches he would throw up everything in his stomach. Sometimes it was right away, sometimes hours later. Same thing happened with apricots. Needless to say, we now avoid peaches and apricots. Its done wonders for my carpets
