How do you KNOW they are teething?
DS has been a little extra cranky these days.......DH is concerned that he's teething, but there's no signs....
No swollen or red gums, nothing but his slight crankiness.....
Any signals? Oh, and what are teething tablets?

Re: How do you KNOW they are teething?
DD has been chomping on her first non stop these days. She tries to put everything in her mouth!
Also, she has been sleeping through the night great - but the past 2 night she has been waking up every 2 hours crying...

Re: How do you KNOW they are teething?
DD would drool excessively, put everything into her mouth to chew on, and she'd get diarreah.
She is 13 months and has 12 teeth - and the most constant sign for us (apart from crankiness) is the diarreah - when she gets it, we KNOW a tooth is coming.

Re: How do you KNOW they are teething?
I really didn't know DS was teething until a tooth appeared because he had been drooling and chomping on things for a couple months. Those are two signs, but for us, he didn't eat much a week before and he also got very clingy--constantly needed DS or me with him in the evening. Also some trouble going to sleep, though he has stayed asleep so far (knock wood)!
