how do you know what size to buy for next summer?!
There are so many great sales going on now that I feel like I should be taking advantage of them and stocking up for next summer! DD is tall for her age, she's 14.5 months now. She'll be 2 next summer...should I buy 2T or 3T? Isn't 24 months and 2T the same? She's growing out of her 18 month stuff now and will be in 24 months soon. So I'm thinking she'll be a 3T next summer? I have no clue and don't want to be wasteful and get the wrong size!

this is a very good question..DS is 11 months and has already been wearing 12 months now for a few months...i have no idea what to get for next year!!!

I believe 2T is slightly larger than 24 months.
I would say 3T for next summer. I have a tall girl too and I bought some 3T stuff but not too much because I am not sure either.  See my post on shoes too 
Sometimes I wish they did 24m, 30m, 36m...1 size for a whole year seems weird, especially after going through 5 sizes in the first year!
