I voted Average. On a day to day basis. If I really try I can be pretty, I just don't have the energy to do it every morning!

you need to stop doing that.
stop looking at yourself the way you think your family does.
look at your parts.
look at your lovely eyes.
your ready smile.
your hair.
your curves.
then look at yourself the way Anthony does.
and gain some perspective.

My point is to classify yourself as beautiful means as simple as it is...that you are better looking then another.
There could be NO Beautiful if there was not in turn an Ugly....
So To say Im pretty and know that there are others who arent, wish they were etc is IMO bad manners and poor taste and I guess why people tend to be modest in their answers.

There could be no intelligence without stupidity...
So yes, i know im smart, especially within my work field and the fact that i know more than people working here over 5 years....and i know others at work wish they were...but they're not...
Im not going to stand back bc my confidence is in "poor taste"
im going to "flaunt" my intelligence and be aggressive to land the next account...
I find it funny that we are told to be confident, but once we are, we are told we are conceited.

I went w/ good old "pretty". DH tells me I "look like a million bucks" several times a week, and I yell at him. I have issues w/ taking a compliment.

Why must anyone reserve their opinion about anything, especially when asked?
Yes, beauty does mean that there is fug in this world, but if we all treated ourselves as average, then everything we DID would BE average.
People stand out, they know it, it's that person, who embraces it and can say it without taking it to the level of conceit or hurting others that makes them truly beautiful.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
if you think you're beautiful, then you ARE.
if you think you're fugly, then trust me it'll show on the outside too!
i know i could lose about 20 lbs but that doesnt mean i think i'm nasty looking. DH still makes me feel like im a knockout and i love that feeling! i'm not embarassed to feel this way, per se. its more that i just dont want to sound conceited. i love myself and what i look like and i'm proud of it.

truth be told, I may not BE beautiful in actuality. someone who put average could blow me out of the water in reality. it's only her perception that makes that so.
As long as you think you are beautiful, you are on the track toward the self confidence many girls/women are lacking.
Don't be ashamed to think you are beautiful or to be proud of who you are, this world needs that.
I don't think I am "beautiful" but that does not affect my confidence. I am just realistic on what beauty actually is.
I guess I would use the word "attractive" more than beautiful for many people.
I classify myself as average because I think I am. All made up (like on my wedding day), I thought I was above average/attractive.

I voted pretty. In reality its somewhere between average and pretty but I had to choose one......
I have to be honest and say that I am not sure how that affects my confidence. In my head, if someone thought I was "stunning", I think I would still see myself as average/pretty

I wish "cute" was an option. I get that the most often.
I voted average, because that's how I feel on an everyday basis. If my body were smaller and I had better skin, I'd feel pretty.

I can't believe all of you that are even talking about your weight and rating your looks on that. A beautiful person is beautiful regardless of how thin they are or big they are.
When I see a beautiful person, they may be big or small, they're beautiful...same for those that have a face only a mother can love.
I think some of you are selling yourselves short.
I consider myself pretty....no matter how fat or skinny i am. ( i tend to fluctuate)

Depends on the season. I am ehhh in the winter - all pasty and translucent, but a little tan and some Vitamin D and my appearance gets a bit of a kick start

I didnt say anyone should reserve their opinion...dont misquote me or misunderstand, I was simply answering why some people dont want to flaunt it , and this is a type of flaunting.
There is nothing wrong with KNOWING you are beautiful ...same goes for intelligent. My IQ test proves Im smarter then most but if I went aroudn saying it, or flaunted it, well you would think I was a little " off" ...same goes for anything IMO ....
No need to SAY it, knowing it is well enough.
Saying it is gonna make a dumb person feel dumber
sorry its how I feel and those quoting me are missing my point completly.
