Re: How do you run quick errands with DC?
I'm really lucky that I can walk to all the shops on a regular basis, but it is a pain to run lots of errands on a regular basis.
I wait until my husband is available to run them for me!!

Re: How do you run quick errands with DC?
I remember that awkward age from say 3-6 months when holding the baby in the carrier was so difficult bc the baby was getting heavier-yet not easy to carry in bc no head support- do you have a snap n go? I think that has to be the best invention in the world! its so easy to just take out of your trunk & throw open to put the carrier on.

I try to wait for DH to come home but if I'm desperate I'll carry her.

Re: How do you run quick errands with DC?
LOL. I don't run "quick" errands anymore, because I now have 2 kids and nothing is quick. I HAVE to get the stroller out for every little thing, and then I have to talk my 2 year old into getting in it, because she prefers to walk. If I do let her walk it takes even longer because she wants to stop and look at everything or she runs away from me and I have to chase her.

Re: How do you run quick errands with DC?
I like going to big shopping centers. I pull out the stroller and get a few things done in one shot. Our UPS is in the same parking lot as pharmacy and grocery store. As far as opening doors with boxes and strollers...I put box down, stroll him in. open door and grab box.
DH works all the time. I have to do everything with the baby. The hardest thing yet has been the laundromat. I had 3 bags in my car. It took forever, in and out with the baby, one bag at a time.

Re: How do you run quick errands with DC?
Having 2 babies, I have no alternative than the take out the stroller. I'm a whiz at opening it, loading them in, doing what I need to do. If it's something like the dry cleaner and it's totally not worth the work in getting them in and out, I'll do it on the weekend when DH is around.
