how early can you learn the sex?
I see some girls that are 17w or so already know- how is that?
I have a Dr.s appt on 10/16- which puts me at 17w, but no sono- safe to assume that my Dr.s office will schedule me for a sono at 20 w?
Sux to wait that long!!!

I have to wait for my Level II (at 20 weeks). My dr.'s office doesn't do sonos at 16 weeks.
If you're dying to find out though, you could always splurge for one of those 3d/4d sonos.

I had a sono and the tech suspects a gender, but we shall see at the next ones to be sure.

I have my next appointment on 10/17...i'll be 17 weeks also. Like you there will be no sono. I am hoping they give me one at 20 weeks but i'm assuming they will schedule me for the next month which will put me at 21 weeks. I am soooooooo impatient when it comes to finding out the sex...I want to know NOW!!!!!!!

I had a sono at 18 weeks and they could tell.
Every time I have a sono they do the regular ones and the 3D, and they determined the sex from the regular one. Even when I had them confirm it at 22 weeks, she looked at the regular one to see it (I couldn't see a d@mn thing!).

I had a dr's appt at 18 weeks and they said they didn't do a sono until 20 so they scheduled me for 2 weeks later just for the sono. Baby wouldn't cooperate so we ended up getting a 2nd sono at 22 weeks and were able to find out the gender. If the baby still wouldn't cooperate we were going to splurge on the 3d sono. I think it was $150 at some place in East Meadow.

You go to Suffolk, too- I'll let you know when I get back from mine about the next appt.
The visits are every 4 weeks, but I may try to get them to schedule my sono for 20w!!!

I just found out today at my High risk Appointment. I am 15.5 weeks. Clear as day and very obvious it's a girl. Usually your dr. will schedule the level II between 16-20 weeks, depending on their technology or if you have to be scheduled outside the office (if they don't do sono's in house). I found out at 20 weeks with my daughter.
