How far in advance did you go off the pill when you started TTC?

I went off the pill in December 2005 just because I wanted to start charting and wanted to get the pill "out of my system" (although from what i understand, this wasn't necessary).
We didn't start TTC until Aug. 2006

I stopped BC in Dec. 2006.
We began to take the "if it happens" approach as of last month.....so about 6 months ahead!

I went off the pill in March 2007. We were avoiding my fertile period for the first two months to allow my body to regulate and to get used to the idea! We started TTC after that.

I went off the pill the end of January 07 and it took a while to get AF so then I went on provera, got AF and waited for another complete cycle until TTC this month

My Dr. told me to go off abotu 3 months before... i went off in June, however AF is more than a month late...and im still getting BFNs
Mary Beth, how long was AF late that your Dr gave you the provera?

went off in oct. got af in oct, missed nov., then got in dec, jan and feb. got pg in Feb.

Went off 5 months ago and have been regular since--we started officially trying 2 months after but weren't preventing for those first two months.
