How is this possible? LIPA question
According to that little graph that compares usage we have doubled our usage as compared to Jan '06. How is this possible?  We have done nothing different. With the exception of no longer using the dishwasher and buying an energy saver washer and dryer. So, our usage should've decreased, no? I can't call LIPA until Tuesday although what are they really going to do.  Thanks for letting me vent!

Could Jan '06 been an estimated bill rather than the actual usage? I know before we went on a budget with them....there was a big difference between the actual usage and what they estimated

I'm having issues with them also...we got new meters put in in the summer and ever since have had higher bills (we rent). I called and gave them the meter reading, which I assumed was the problem, and they said it was only going to be $15 cheaper.

Good pont. I'll check. But it says my next meter reading isn't until March so I assumed they just did one. I'll look at the bill.
