wow-looks like Im in the minority...I didnt go into labor until about 2-3 weeks after I lost it.

It was strange for me.........
I thought I peed my pants at 5:30AM.....because I had been carefully watching & no mucus plug yet ( I now know it wa smy water breaking!)
Around 10AM......I had very runny mucus leaking......not lat all like what I thought it would be........
And around 10AM......I had my first contraction......and about every 1/2 an hour I kept having them until 2:30PM when they started every 5 minutes.
DS was born at 2:08 AM........
So about 14 hours after it started to come out, DS was born!

I lost my mucous plug all at once. I was already having contractions and I was 3cm.

With my first son, I never saw it. With my second I started losing it in pieces on Friday morning and througout the day had him Saturday afternoon.

DD- i lost it over a few days and was induced a week later
DS- lost it over a few days and had him that week.
