How long are the playdates you go to or host?

How long are the playdates you go to or host?
So far the ones I go to last 1-2 hours. I invited one person and their child over to my house and they stayed for over 4 hours! I had to tell them I needed to start cooking for DH and that I had a lovely time...I think they would have stayed over if I didn't say anything. What's the average time for just a simple playdate?

I find that with close friends it's around 2-3 hours but with daycare moms or a mix of new people it's 1-2 hours.

They usually last 2-3 hours unless I know that someone has another thing to do/go to... but close friends are always welcome to stay.  I think that if you didn't set up a definite end time beforehand, that 4 hours isn't totally unreasonable if everyone is playing and having a good time.

1-2 hrs...definitely not 4!!!!!!
One of the girls in my playgroup, we get along really well and became good friends so maybe just her and I would hang out sometimes for that long...
