I don't get any maternity leave we have been saving so hopefully I can take 3 months without working at all and then I am trying to arrange a p/t work from home for 9 additional months. We both would prefer for me to be home with the baby for the 1st year.

14 weeks I think and I think 2 weeks before...so my last day will be 10/15...I will be paid through accruals and other reimbursement I planned through my job.

Definitely 14 weeks and looking to take off an additional 3 months. It depends on a variety of factors.

I get 4 weeks before the due date at full pay, and then 6 weeks for a vag/8 weeks for a c at 2/3 pay. I will then be taking 3 weeks carryover vacation from this year and probably a week or two from next year's vacation.

I get 6 weeks vag / 8 weeks c-section at full pay, then I will probably take another 4-6 weeks using vacation time and unpaid.
I am going to try to work until the very end.

I'm a teacher. So I will deliver the begining of June and take sick days (I have like 12 weeks) for that month. And then take the summer and then one -two months at the start of they year.

Similar for me, too.
The baby is due in January and I'll be returning in September '09. 7-8 mos for me.

I get 12 weeks paid. However, there is a strong possiblility that I will be on bed rest before the babies are born (I'm high risk), but I hope not!

I get 6 weeks paid maternity leave (which is disability, not full salary). But I am taking off 12 weeks.
