How long did it take you to get your medical records
for those of you who have requested them?
I faxed the paper over this morning hoping I could pick them up either tomorrow afternoon, or even Monday- by 2pm--- but they're telling me it's going to take over a week 
I'm so annoyed right now--- I finally found the courage to request them and it's too late for me anyway to have them for my consult at LI-IVF.
The odds are that I'll be put on provera to bring on AF anyway, so that will buy me some time but I wanted to have them to go over myself this weekend and then for my consult... this stinks!

A week sounds about right.
My RE's policy was that they had to have my records in hand a week before my appointment so the doctor had time to review my history before meeting with us. When I requested them from my OBGYN, I was told it would take 7-10 business days. They got them there in 10 days.... but I was over the whole thing because my OBGYN practice is on the 3rd floor of a 3 story building and my RE's office is on the 1st floor of the same building!

From our friend over there at that office? Don't hold your breathe. You can see LI-IVF w/o them, just let them know what you've been doing. It took literally WEEKS for them to get to LI-IVF from Drs. B&L. Maybe even longer. I know I got an appt. with Dr. K after about 3 weeks from when I requested them, and they didn't have my records when I went.

I faxed over the form and same thing, 7-10 days. I asked if they could put a rush on it (I switched clinics b/c I moved so no hard feelings) but, they didn't.
Then, I found out from Dr. Droesch, that they didn't even send my entire file!!! A lot of the info she wanted wasn't there (like the egg count and quality from my first IVF). Luckily, I kept good notes but I was annoyed. Dr. D said she was ok without it but wanted to mention it to me. I was going to call them and complain but never got around to it.

I hate to tell you that its probably going to be AT LEAST a week. I had to request mine from them twice Even the 2nd time she told me at least a week, and it was.

Lol- are you talking about J? She's always been really helpful w/ me but she's out of the office today. There's a dopey fill in there (who I had problems getting thru to dr L for 5 days because of--- she never gave him 1 message- he was furious when I finally did get thru after my iUI was cancelled).
She practically hung up on me... I really don't like her

I faxed a letter to my GYN requesting a copy of all my test results and I had it w/in 2 days. Sorry you're waiting so long.

That's what I thought it would be- last time i picked them up at my drs office the next day---- but i guess not at this office.
I'm going to call tomorrow and ask the receptionist (if she's back) if there's any chance of me picking them up either tomorrow afternoon, saturday (they have morning hours) or monday morning...... and i'll see what she says.
I didn't put that i needed them for another dr i just said i wanted them for my own records... UGH!

I just did the same thing with my RE... I requested the file for my own records last week and I have still not received them. I called today to ask where they were and they said some mail guy put them in the out-going mail last Friday... I still have not received anything!!
