About 9 months total. I gained close to 50 and to lose the last 15 pounds or so, I went on WW for a few months.

DD is 6 months old....I lost about 28 and still have 25 lbs to go. So it can take a realllly looooong time!

i gained 28 pounds with dd (she was delivered vaginally) and lost it all rather quickly. i dont have a scale in my house so i dont know how many weeks pp that i lost the weight.
dd is 9months old and i am still bfing her.

At 14 weeks PP I'm still 6-8lbs from my weight when I found out I was pregnant ... which was 30lbs more than when I got married. And that was about 20lbs more than I was when I met DH 
But I'm also a lazy sack of poop ...

i gained 25 lbs with ds. I lost 20 lbs within 3 weeks and the other 5 lbs by 2 months.

DD- c-section. I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight by 3 or 4 months PP. I had to start WW at around 6 weeks in order to get back.
DS- VBAC. I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight (I was about 5 pounds heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight with DD) by about 2 months PP. By 4 months PP I had lost nearly 10 additional pounds.'
And yes, in my case it did take longer to lose after the c-section. I think it's because my activity was limited for a while where as after my VBAC I was up & around like normal the day I was released from the hospital. Plus, because of the surgery there was more swelling & water weight that needed to come off.

I gained 45 lbs during my pregnancy and lost all of it 2 weeks after my Csection. Now I am 10 weeks pp and down another 15 lbs pre-pregnancy weight but I have all this extra stretched skin and need a tummy tuck

Me too, about the lump! It's so annoying - does that ever go away?? I had my baby 7 months ago, lost all of the baby weight, but still have the lump where the incision is

i gained 22lbs, and lost 30 by time DD was 3 mths old. i exclusively pump, and i think that has a looot to do with it, cuz i eat crap & don't exercise. (im also a vegetarian tho)...

I was extremely lucky. I gained 32 lbs and lost it all by 1 week PP. I left the hospital in my regular clothes. i think I had a ton of water weight.
3 yrs PP though...and Im still all flabby because I never work out to tone up.

me too
me too i left the hospital in my PP clothes and weight, but proceeded to gain 5 lbs in the 4 months i've been home with him

I did not have a c section. I gained 33 pounds and lost it all in 4 weeks. I was also breast feeding and I wasnt eating right because of ppd.

I only gained 18 lbs so it came off pretty quickly - about 3 weeks.
But my flabby midsection is still there!
