How long did you burp your baby's for?
Am I the only crazy idiot that still does it? My DS is 10 months. I'm such a burp freak. I don't know why but I have to get a burp out of him during feedings.
Please don't ask how long I plan on burping him for...

i do still pat his back after the bedtime bottle before he goes into the crib. Probalby unnecessary but I want him to be comfy and fall off to sleep.

Part of the reason I still burp is because I think it will make them uncomfy if I don't.

i still burp hannah before she goes to bed. otherwise she wakes up screaming and crying and then spits up. my ped recommended that i continue this until her reflux gets better. she has a really hard time burping on her own. but during the day i dont do it.

I stopped both ~6 months when they were sitting up on their own. It's really no longer necessary to burp him.

DD is 7.5mths and I can't remember last time I burped her. Usually when I sit her up after a feeding she burps on her own. I think that's why I stopped burping her.

I still burp DD and she's almost 6 months. If I don't she'll spit up. But I usually let her finish almost her whole bottle before burping her.

That's what DS does sometimes too. I burp him when he's done with the bottle.

Wow...someone must have been reading my mind...my dad asked me this morning how long you have to burp babies for....I am so clueless...my answer was, "I dont know, maybe a year...."

We were just discussing this last night b/c I was teasing DH for burping her. He gives DD her bedtime bottle and he still burps her but I haven't for some time now.
