3.5-4 hours or so

4-5 hours, depending on how big it is. I've done a 3-4 lb chicken in about 4 hours, but if you leave it in longer, it won't really dry out in the crockpot. But in my experience, a whole chicken in the crockpot doesn't really stay intact like a roast chicken does... it kind of falls off the bone (no matter how long you cook it).
