how long does it take your 15-20 month old to eat meals?

how long does it take your 15-20 month old to eat meals?
and if you give them something messy like a stew or something saucy and they aren't so good with utensils yet, do you spoon feed them or let them just do the best they can?

I used to spoon feed DD at that age because she didnt get enough to eat doing it herself. meals took a long time at that age...

i'm super lucky if a meal only takes 30 minutes.

DD is 15 months. She takes about 10 minutes to eat. I am really trying to get her to use the spoon...she does pretty well with yogurt, but today I gave her a "lil'entree'" and she was a MESS....it was easier just to feed her myself.
