12 weeks but I can take 14.
ETA: My company offers 14 weeks. Of the 14, the first 6 or 8 are paid depending upon how you deliver and the remaining weeks are unpaid unless you use your accrued vacation and personal time.
I will get paid for 8 weeks by my company since I will be delivering via c/s. I will use my accrued vacation and personal for the remaining weeks but I don't think I will have enough to stay out for the total 14, so I will go back after 12.

how long will you be on maternity leave?
I'm due end of June but I'm a teacher so I'll get about 8 weeks. Hopefully I won't have to use many days.

For my first pregnancy I took 12 weeks but this time I am taking longer. I am thinking 6 months (I'm allowed to take up to a year).

how long will you be on maternity leave?
I have to go back after 7 weeks because that is what I have saved in sick time. Technically I only have 6 weeks saved, but because of February break, I get an extra week since we wouldn't be in school that week anyway.

12 weeks - 6 weeks paid, 6 weeks unpaid (which I will use sick and vacation days for so I can get paid). Allowed an additional two weeks if it ends up a C Section.
Wish it was a year

I'm hoping to take 6 weeks but I'm due at the beginning of August. But busy season at work starts again and last until November. So my boss may let me break it up and take 6 weeks before and then use comp time to take as many weeks as I want in November and December. We'll see.

At least 12 weeks. I took 12 weeks with my DS but 6 of that was unpaid because of the time of year I gave birth (I lost a lot of vacation days in the "new year"). This time around I plan on taking at least 12 weeks. I think maybe 2.5 of that is going to be unpaid. We are allowed to take up to 16 weeks unpaid, I may consider taking around 14 weeks, I guess I will see how much financial strain it will put on us.

12 weeks but my company pays up to 20. but FMLA only covers my job for 12.
my job pays 100% for 6 weeks and then 75% up to 20 weeks.
ETA my first pregnancy I took off 11 weeks and they didn't pay anything. I had to use all my personal days.

I'm filling out the paper work now and trying to decide. I think I'm taking one month before birth (paid and "use or lose") which can't be carried over. And 5 months post birth.

Depends when the baby comes, but most likely around 9-10 weeks. 6w solid maternity leave and then sporadic days in the office and trying to work from home for the remainder of the time. I'm only really paid for about 2-3 weeks of it and then STD for the other 6 weeks.

I work for a large accounting firm. I must say they are very, very supportive of working moms. It's not all paid though. 16 to 18 weeks are paid materity and I'm mixing in a few weeks PTO and some unpaid FMLA.

15 weeks. I will take the 12 standard and then add my 3 weeks of summer vaca. I work in a school and am due int the summer.

I'm aiming for 6 months. We don't have paid maternity leave, so I'll be using all of my accrued time. 12 weeks of sick days, and vacation to cover the rest. It still won't cover everything, I'll have about 1.5 months unpaid. Luckily we have a generous vacation and sick day accrual policy! Although I am still weary about using all my time. I know if I go back after 12 weeks everyone will expect me to be at full capacity and I don't think I will be able to at that point. I think 6 months seems just right for me.
