How many children do you want?

Initially I thought I wanted 2 then I had my dd. And shes amazing, I love her more than life itself. Shes my world. And I was 1 and done.
My DH wanted another.
But due to medical reasons I do not want anymore. We tried and had issues.
Were 1 and done.

5 but we'll see. We have 2 now. I'm 33. We could do it but I don't have tons of time to play with & things would have to work out ideally. We'll see how it goes. I'm hoping/planning to have another next year & then we'll go from there.

I always wanted 3. Now I think I'm good with just 2. We have a 5 yr old daughter and just had our son a few months ago. I think this is a perfect little family. I had just recently told my sisters to slap me in the face if I ever tell them I want a 3rd. haha! Once I get my life back, I need to hold onto it like crazy. I'm just not getting any sleep and have no time to myself. I love my kids but do not enjoy the baby stage. Plus we struggle with holding onto pregnancies. Both my daughter and son I fought for tooth and nail. I don't want to go through that ever again. The only way I'll ever have a 3rd is if we have a happy accident in our future. Otherwise, I'm content So my answer is TWO

I always wanted 4-5. I have 2 now and I know I will have a 3rd as long as we can get pregnant again. I think that's all I can get from dh though. I'm really hoping I feel content with 3.

I wanted two. I really thought a pair was a perfect number. An heir and a spare I would laughlying suggest. Yes. Two.. perfection. My father got one of each and always swore it was the best. My brother was my savior and my best friend.

My husband wanted 3. yes, he was one of 3.

Even after AJ was born we used to see men carrying two kids and say "that will be you one day... "

We had one. I said wait 3 years to discuss another. Hell 3months later and we were both HELL NO to another. She was a great baby. Easy child. Easy pregnancy. But I hated my body being taken over by some monster within. It was not beautiful. It was evasive. I hated the moving part the most. I referred to her as "it" most of the time until she was born. I never, not ONCE, wanted to push her out of my vagina. No thank you. Thankfully I was spared that disgusting act. Even then my blood pressure went haywire for unknown reasons that no one can explain to this day. Took me a year to recover. It nearly killed me. Add the reality that Kids are extremely expensive. Period.

So no thank you. One and done and very happy about it. We can't imagine why we ever thought we'd want more. Then again we pour everything into AJ as well.

One and done. My DD is 9 and fortunately loves being an only, and I hope that stays the case.

i always wanted 3 and I have 3!
I have dd7, ds is 4 going on 5, and dd 9 months old.
my son has adhd and I couldn't imagine having a 3rd early than when we did. I am happy with the spacing.

now that we have 3, I was worried if I will ever feel done and I do! I hate saying this is our last baby, but it is. I know it is. We are looking for the calm now, after the storm. we are really enjoying the baby phase. it is actually a breath of fresh air compared to the other two that are always fighting and giving me hell. hahaha
I love it all. So happy to have our party of 5!

We have three. DH is DONE DONE DONE.

If we were younger and wealthier I could probably do a 4th. But if I had another one now it might do me in. So we are done and we feel very blessed.

We have 4 (2 boys, 2 girls) and I love it, I can officially say we are done. It's funny bc I always said I only wanted 2, but we never felt done, till now.

I would have liked to have 4, but we're done. DH wanted 2 and I wanted 4. So 3 it is!

I want 3. We currently have 2. DH is on board with 3 but would be totally fine with 2.

I'll be honest that I'm struggling with two. It's just really hard with a super active toddler, a baby, and working FT. I feel like 3 will send me over the edge but I feel like we are missing part of our family.

We have a boy and a girl right now but I am not sure if I am done. SO we have two but maybe 3 someday.

Originally I wanted 1, then I had twins and I didn't feel done so we had a third. I got my tubes tied at the recommendation of my dr so I wouldn't get pregnant again because of medical reasons. I would definitely have 1 more though if I was able to get pregnant.

I always wanted 3. I had DD1 and got divorced 1 year later. I got remarried when DD1 was 5 and gained a SS. 3 years later, I've just had DD2. So I have my 3. But, I kinda want another...DH is done though. He is turning 40 this year and my SS is 10 so he just feels too old (even though he's not). Realistically, I know 3 is enough on our plate especially with DHs travel schedule but having a baby around just makes me want more and sad that I won't be pregnant again.

We always wanted 2 and have 2 but that almost didn't happen. It took 9 months to conceive DD and over two years with multiple secondary IFV attempts to conceive DS. When we stopped trying is when I got pregnant with DS.

I really want a 3rd but husband doesn't want it. At this point, I don't think he can handle the 2 we have :( so a third may not be in the cards for us.

Dh wants 3. I always wanted 2, but haven't ruled out a third. We have 2 and I love our family the way it is. Melts my heart watching my two girls together.

I'm not sold on 3, but not against it down the road (not too far down if I'm going to do it) either but part of me feels like it will put me over the edge.

I think I would feel differently if my mom were here and had her help.

But if I were to get pregnant by accident, I wouldn't avoid 4.
