I always thought 2. Since as far back as I can remember. Going through a divorce and getting married at 31, I actully would have been ok with just one at that point in my life. My DH always wanted 2 so we would plan on trying for 2. I had my "first" at 33 yrs old...which ended up being Twin girls. Now that we have our two...we feel like we may want to try for a boy. Our girls will be One in May and we decided that when they are two, we will revisit the idea of another baby

How many children do you want?

I always wanted 4. I have 3 now & my life is so hectic right now that I can't imagine having another one. I'm happy with my 3. My DS is still very young so I find it very hard juggling everything right now but it is kind of sad to say he will be my last baby. But I know I couldn't handle another one.

I'd like 2 children, *maybe* 3, but that's before going through labor/delivery and child rearing of our first even. We'll see if I still feel this way a few months from now. We're having a girl and I know my DH wants a boy badly- he said he'd have 8 kids if that's what it took to get a boy. Easy for him to say. He's not the one who would have to be pregnant for SIX YEARS. Really though, no more than 3.

ETA: It also depends on where we're at financially and everything a few years down the line.

We're one and done. If I was younger, I'd prob. go for a 2nd.

I always wanted 2. 1 early miscarriage and 1 difficult pregnancy and bad PPA afterwards and I'm ONE AND DONE!! Financially it won't work for us. We both work FT and both trying to further our careers currently, plus the cost of daycare is INSANE!

Always wanted 2. When DD2 was born I desperately wanted a 3rd. Like crazy obsessing wanted a 3rd immediately. Well... I probably should have done it then, because she's now almost 13 months and I cannot imagine having another baby. If she were my first I don't know that I would have had a second. I have given everything away and proudly declared that we are DONE.

(yes, yes I know that this is precisely when surprises occur and I have definitely jinxed myself)

I either wanted 0 or 2. We have 1 now and have been trying for #2 for almost 2 years. We just did our last FET today, so if this doesn't stick we will stick to one. I have made peace with this decision.

3 and I have 3! I would have a 4th if I didn't work, but I do believe 3 is what is best for our family!

I always wanted 3-4 kids. I now have 2 girls, I had two miscarriages in between, and then my baby was born extremely premature and it's something of a miracle that she's here. Sadly, my doctors do not think I should become pregnant again, so I am done. I promised myself when my pregnancy looked like it was ending, and again when my baby was clinging to life, that I could never let myself feel like I didn't get enough out of life with just my two girls if I was lucky enough to take her home relatively healthy from the hospital. It's still tough to know I don't have the option. I joke that if I have more children I will be going to pick them up on an airplane, but really that's the truth!

I've gone back and forth, originally wanting 3. I can't imagine another right now. One and done. Nothing permanent has been done, but I don't anticipate more.

Always wanted 2...we have DS who is 2 and will start trying for another this year. We wanted to enjoy DS as much as possible and we like the 3-4 yr age gap.

I thought we were done after having 2, boy & girl. However, as DD becomes more and more independent I am getting really sad and unsure about closing this chapter in our lives.

While financially we cannot afford it, I just can't justify that as enough reason not to have one more.

DH is on the fence. He is looking at it with clear glasses and knows that we would be stressed out with one more, so I think I am in denial about admitting he is right

We want 3 but we'll most likely have 2. We love our home and it won't fit 3 kids. If we dormer our taxes will be insane so we can't afford to do that unless we miraculously fall into money in the future.

I wanted none. Then desperatly wanted one. We got her and she's perfect. Some bad things have happened lately that puts things in perspective so Im going to wing it and see if we get #2. If it happens great if not I will be OK with that too.
