How many days will your 4 year old go to preschool?
or how many days did you send them (if they are older). Looking for answers if your child will be going into kindergarten next year (fall 2012) of if they already went and are in grade school now.

Curious to see as I am undecided how many days to send DS

5 days and I hate it, non of the reasonably priced preschools around us offer less than 5 days, neither does UPK . I would love to send her just 2-3 days

DS was in pre-k this past year. He got into our towns UPK so he went 5 days for 3 hours other wise I would have only sent him 3 days. I'm glad it worked out this way b/c our town went to full day K this year and I think he will be a little more prepared for the long day everyday.
Eta: oops, sorry, I just saw you only want answers from those w/ kids starting K next year.

DD will be going 5 full days, but I guess the afternoon program is more like a daycare. I"m back to work full time in Dec. and I really wanted this program b/c it is reasonably priced so I needed to enroll her now to ensure that she has a spot. I feel a little bad, but I think she'll love it. She's a high, high energy kid who needs lots of structure.

dd will be going 5 days full time, but mostly b/c I work. If it were up to me, Id send her five half days instead.

DD is starting K this year - but she went 3 1/2 days last year when she was 4. I kin dof wish I would hav done 5 1.2 days last yr though..because the transition from 3 1/2 days to 5 full days seems like a big one to me now.

3 days a week 9:15-11:45. He went to camp 5 days a week from 9:15-12:30 and was fine with that too. I am happy with this schedule. He also has swim on a day he does not have school.

Oh wow, I am shocked! My DD will be going into pre-k five full days--8:15-2:30; Mondays she'll also be going to Daisies directly after (with her 1st grade sister) until 4pm. 
We actually don't have an option at our school, but I could have kept her at her preschool which would have been five days 9-12. However, she is SO ready to be out of here...she gets VERY frustrated and acts out with too much downtime...esp. without her sister around.

DD just started preschool, 3 days a week, 4 hours per day.
She is 4 and was in day care FT until this month.

My twins went...5 days per week 6.5 hours per day.
