i see i am in the minority i have 4 yr old twins and have never bathed them every night, honestly don't have the time for that, and baths rile them up,
they get bathed/showered about 3 times a week i just dont see the need for every day if they didnt do anything to warrant them being so dirty, they wash their face with a washcloth every night when they brush their teeth.
This is us--bath about 3x a week unless needed.

how many showers a week for 5 year old
I guess my kids are neglected lol. We do 2 maybe 3 nights. I have a 5 yr old and a 2 1/2 yr old and do the same for both. I couldn't imagine doing it every night.

Unless they were in the pool or running around in grass or sweaty they get a bath 3 times a week. The summer they are in the pool often so pretty much every day. But in the winter def. not that often. So drying on their skin and bad to wash their hair that often ( and I can't give a bath and not wash hair)

In the summer, they get a bath/shower daily. They get sweaty and/or swim daily.
In the winter, every other day.
These days, they shower probably 6x per week and they wash their hair every other day.

Yup, exact same with us. 2-3 times per week, unless they got particularly dirty. They really don't sweat that much, especially in the cooler months.

During the summer, they usually get baths every day. During the school year, it's at least every other day. DS1has been coming home covered in dirt though from playing soccer at school and daycare so he gets a bath every day during the week.

Every day that he goes to school or if we go to the doctor. Weekends are an as needed basis.

Every other night for my 6 and 4.5 year old unless they need it. DD has very very sensitive skin and really can't shower more than that. DS could shower every night, I should probably start doing that

Every night I give DS a bath unless we come get home late on a weekend. If so he gets a bath when he wakes up.

During the summer pretty much every day for DS. He gets sweaty and his crocs make his feet so nasty!
Cooler weather 3-4 times a week.
DD gets a bath 3 times a week for now. As she gets older she will follow her brothers bathing routine.

Picked other bc my boys (5 and 3) take a shower everyday. Summer they are swimming, running around and sweaty and Fall/Winter time they're in school everyday picking up germs or whatever. Not that I'm a germaphobe, but makes me feel better and it's also part of our nighttime routine.
I don't wash their hair every night unless it's needed. Maybe every other. I also use a gentle soap like Dove.

I have 3yr old twin boys. I bath mostly every other day. Sometimes get bath daily depending on activity.
I have a 5 year old and a 1 year old-we do the same as above-baths every other day. This changes to every day depending on the activity

My 5 year old - every single night I couldn't imagine her coming home from school and going to bed without taking a bath.
