How many wipes

With a pee or poop?
I don't always use wipes for pee pee. If the diaper is 10 pounds and I got my money worth then yes, I definitely use a wipe or two.

For a poopy diaper I feel like I use a ton. I've seen people really get the majority eith 1 then use 2 wipes, but I still feel like I use so much. Got to make sure it's 100 percent. Gotta really get in there around the twig and berries. Btw... I have boys. Lol

DS#1 is potty trained and DS#2 is only 12 weeks...

For pee pee, sometimes I don't wipe, but I usually do. For #2, it depends on how much I'm dealing with. Maybe 3-5???

I'm like you. I use sparingly for pee, but when it's a #2 I feel like I use tons and tons. I need to make sure that DD is clean - don't want any diaper rashes or just dirtiness. I used to feel bad, but I stopped because I figure I'm cleaning her and it's worth it. Sometimes I even take her to the sink in the bathroom and just wash her bottom off on top of the wipes.

How many wipes

For pee, if it is the morning or after nap I use two because they are heavy, other times during the day if I am changing him quickly none, other times one. For poop, I try to wipe with the diaper as I am pushing it down, then I use anywhere from 2-4 wipes.

i also had to add since i am now laughing .... DH and I have always described the severity of poopy diapers by number of wipes used

I have a little boy..9 months!
I use 3-4 in the morning (bc hes been in the diaper all night)
During the day I use 2...
and if its a poopy one...there is NO TELLING! :)

I use a ton of wipes for a poopie diaper. Never less than 4, usually about 8. And i use water too (i have a small container I fill with water and wet the wipes with). DH is the same way. I like to know he's all clean.

We get wipes from Amazon subscribe and save and we are always advancing our shipment bc we go through them so fast.

I always use 1 for pee. It's probably not needed everytime, but it makes me feel better to clean everything a little.

Poop is usually at least five. I'm obsessive, and also not that efficient. But whatever, at long as his butt is clean at the end!

I use 1 wipe for just pee, except the morning when diaper is heavy, then I use two.

For poop I use 2+ wipes depending on the severity of the poop.

Wait, why wouldn't one use wipes for a pee diaper?

Urine gets all over his butt, and little folds and penis.

I use 1-3 for a pee diaper, 4-5 for a poop diaper or if its a massive poop, I clean his but in the sink.

Poo - never less than 3. Once it looks totally clean, I use a clean wipe for a final wipedown. She likes to poo as soon as she wakes up, so we go through a lot of wipes with that first diaper. Poo in an already full diaper is not pleasant!

Dh likes to double up on wipes to ensure a solid barrier between his hand and the poo. I tend to do all the poo diapers because DH can't handle it

How many wipes

If it's just pee, I usually don't wipe, except in the morning and after a long nap. I never use more than 1 for pee though. For poop, I wipe as much as I can with the diaper on the way down. Then i use anywhere from 2-4 wipes, depending on how messy the poop is.

ETA: My husband uses about 87 wipes per poop. I am always teasing him about it. I think he does like one swipe and then gets a clean wipe, whereas I do a swipe, then fold it, wipe again, etc. till I use up every clean inch of that wipe!

If it's really messy, I do one big wipe with the diaper first. Then clean up with a wipe or 2.

For pee, just one. When DD was 6 months and younger I'd say it was more like 2. And for poop, I can usually get the job done with 2 wipes now. But before she was solids her poop was pure liquid from the Nutramigen formula. It took at least 5 wipes then.

Poo there is no limit and like a PP said, once its clean, I use another just to be sure.

Mom of a toddler and newborn both girls. Pee-1 wipe, poop-4-6 wiPes especially with the newborn.
