we set a budget for $250 - then we bumped it up to $300 - but i already spent that much and need to get him one more thing.
we always set a budget then end up buying eachother twice as much!

I just just thinking the same thing because I don't earn money as a SAHM.
But I spent about $325 on him so far. We'r enot going nuts on each other, I just got a bunch of things from the kids to give him plus one big gift from me.

So far around $150....I got him a ticket to see the Who (the 2nd ticket I bought was for his Brothers 30th Bday gift), a George Bush T shirt & a Who CD....he will be picking out his own fishing pole....he is DONE!!
So I figure around $300 by the time he gets his fishing pole...........

Same here...I have been a SAHM for 5 years so I feel funny getting him so much stuff. He would never say it, but I feel like...here's all the stuff you bought for yourself!
I spent $150 on him. He is sooooooo easy to please!

We are leaving Sunday for St Lucia, so thats the gifts for us both, so no exchanging. I did get him 2 xbox 360 games for his stocking.

I spent $400 on a Vanity from fortunoffs, which Danielle knows about and then I got her 6 to 7 more gifts. I really couldnt tell you how much I spent. I'll let you know after
christmas lol

So far nada, nothing, zilch.
DH claims he does not want a thing. I think he is being a martyr this year. I do, however, want to purchase a hutch/cabinet for our kitchen. He said that I could go ahead and make that his gift.
I happen to think this is a great idea!!! I might as well just continue my shopping spree and treat myself to some new clothes and a nice pair of boots. I will then say it was a gift for him. Whatever works.

Every November (well for the past two) my husband goes to the Hugo Boss sample sale and gets suits so that's his present.
I still end up getting him a little something.
