I'm pretty sure the Town of Babylon Basic Star savings was $991 last year. Not sure about this year.

Town of Smithtown is just over $1K for 2011. Was in the mid 900s last year

I was told it ranges from $700 - $1400...and I should consider myself lucky (the lady's words not mine) that I am closer to the $1400 number

Same for Town of Babylon
The deadline for ALL towns in Suffolk County is 3/1. You can print out the application online at the various town websites. You fill out a form, mail it in (I would do it via certified mail so there's proof they received it) and you're good to go. It's that easy.
