$35 for specialists.
Prescriptions vary
Our heath insurance is amazing.
I am on a medication that costs $4000 a month for one dose. I pay nothing; not for the medication, not for the 2 hour infusion once a month....nothing.

And I work in healthcare.
All of you who pay only a few grand should consider yourself extremely lucky.
If I ever lost my job we would be royally screwed because DH is self-employed and cannot afford it.

Dh currently pays $95 per week for our family plan (2 adults 2 kids). Copays are $35/$50 Rx are $15.

We pay $600ish per month but it is GREAT insurance. Co-pay is $20 ( for specialists) and most Rxs are between $10 an $15. We also don't need referrals and the plan is widely accepted. It is comforting to know that I have a such a good insurance even though the price is high.
ETA: No in-network deductible.

We are on dh's insurance now (just me & him--we have no kids), it doesn't cost anything out of his paycheck (not sure if it would if we had kids), but it's not great coverage... we have $30 copays for regular doc & $50 copays for specialists, with a yearly $500 deductible & 10% coinsurance. I think we will switch to my employer's plan soon, from what I have heard the coverage is better.
that's actually pretty damn good for not having any premiums.

i didn't realize how lucky i was until reading this.... we have insurance through DH which we pay nothing towards
our dental and prescriptions are paid by his union (we can pay out of pocket at a regular pharmacy or go to certain pharmacies and just hand them a form and they handle billing )
the only thing we do not have is optical. my mom works for an eye doctor so we get free visits through her for now..

$0 - My company covers us at no cost to us and we have a $0 copay for everything. It is the most amazing coverage we have ever had and I can't believe in this economy my company still does it, but I know its safe for at least another year because they just renewed it. The health insurance is the main reason I went back to work after having DD. DH is an Architect and we would have to pay for private insurance and I only got two quotes before I gave up!

We pay a little over $500 a month for our health insurance.
They just changed our plan and our co-pays went up to $35/60 from $25/50.
Prescriptions also went up but I'm not exactly sure what the amounts are.
Our boss pays a portion of the health benefits.

Same here! We'll pay about $1500/yr for family medical with moderate co-pays but aside from yearly physicals we currently don't visit the doc that often.

I'm not exactly sure what they take from DH's pay for our family coverage, but it's definitely not very much. We are very lucky.
If we were on my company's plan, we'd be paying $7200 out of pocket each year for the lowest amount of coverage, plus an in network deductible.

About $6500 for me and my sons (DH works for NC state and his is free). I have $1500 deductible ($500 each for the three of us)....then once deductible is met for the year, 90% of services are covered. Copays are $30.
I think it sux. When we were in NY and DH worked for JFK, we had excellent benefits.

We pay $1100/month for a family of 3 through DH's company.
Copays are $15/20 with no deductible.
It is A LOT, comes out to about $13k/year, BUT the insurance is awesome! Covers everything. We only paid $325 OOP for my 4 day hospital stay when I delivered our DS via c-section.

DH pays ~$300/month...$1300 deducatable (family of 4 - each member is $300, but this will remain as we go to a family of 5 this year)
So it's just under $5000/year.
but I get ~$6000 from my job for waiving insurance - so after taxes - we pay <$500/year

We have Aetna PPO and pay $25/paycheck for a family of 3. It used to be free and this is with a small private company.
But we got a $6k deductible which we gradually must pay towards. So if there's a $100 doctor visit, we pay a % like $20 and that $20 goes towards the deductible.
To the ladies who pay more than 1000/mo. Is it cheaper to find insurance on your own?
Makes you wonder...

I picked the wrong one because I can't add....
$1440 per year (family plan). No deductible. No Maximum. $25 co-pays, $4 - 10prescriptions. Full dental, full vision.
I love his union.
My company for the closest plan:
$8k a year, $1500 deductible $15K maximum for the family. My company contributes a nominal amount.

a friend of mine self-insures, and pays $1200/month for her family, has a $2500 deductible, and a $50 co-pay. Also, she needs a referral for everything, so she has way more regular office visits to her GP than I do, so she pays more that way as well.
