How much do you spend on a housewarming gift?
A friend of DH's from work is having a housewarming party. They registered at BBB because they are a gay couple and are not having an engagement party or wedding shower.

In that instance, I'd spend more than on a couple who had a traditional wedding celebration-- probably $60 to $75. For someone who I already purchased all those other gifts for-- I'd spend $20 to $40 depending on how close we were.

i would spend about $50-$75 given the situation. if i had gone to a engagement party, bridal shower and wedding i would spend less
