How much does your DC drink per day (milk and other liquids) around 16 mos...
DS has been on a water strike since we are on all sippy's (except for the night time bottle). He drinks I would say anywhere from 13-16 oz of milk per day and he used to drink around 8oz of water (with a splash of juice) and now i am lucky if he drinks 2. This has been causig him major problems in the diaper area  . just wondering if this is something i need to be concerned about since im not really sure what average is - i just know that he was previously recc what the ped suggested!

My son is just over 17 mos...I say he drinks about 15-20 oz of milk in day on average (9-10 of which is in a bedtime bottle and he has a cup of milk with breakfast). My dr said stay under 24 oz. He isn't a huge drinker of water/juice unfortunately. I doubt he drinks an entire sippy cup on average in an entire day but it is offered to him throughout the day. If I give him pure juice in a juice box - he'll down that!! I think it is just an age thing and he'll drink more wate ras he gets older...I think I remember similar with my #1....although the memory is foggy.

Noah is 19 months old, he has 2-3 7 oz milk bottles a day and 2-4 8-10 oz waters mixed with a asplash of juice a day. ( Our Ped did say we were giving him WAY more fluids then needed, but we didnt listen)

OK...I just got disciplined by DD's ped yesterday.
She's 14 months old today and drinks 5-6 bottles a day....some with 10oz. Alot of milk. We will be cutting the daytime bottles to 7 oz of sippy cups with milk.
Little Ms. Thing refuses to drink anything but milk..ocassionally (and that is a big occasionally) she will drink water but she doesn't like juice.

DS will be 16 months next week
Milk: (14-18 oz per day)
6 oz in the morning
6 oz in the afternoon
then yogurt, cheese, ricotta, cottage cheese, or some other calcium source during the day.
Sometimes he will have another 2-3 oz before bed.
Water / Juice
Usually 1 sippy he will sip from all day - sometimes I will refill it if he's really thirsty but he usually drinks about 8-12 oz per day of water or water/juice.

I give DS (16mos) three 7oz milk sippys/day
He wont really drink much plain water and I feel like the milk is better than the juice/water combo.
Although I'm hearing they don't need that much milk so lately I've been testing just doing the 2 sippys of milk and water/juice mid-day in place of a bottle but I dont know yet what I'll stick with.

Sometimes I think you and I live parrallel lives! My twins are still big bottle drinkers. They love their milk and will on ocassion drink water. We are a no juice family. We offer water all day long and they drink about 4-6 ounces.

Well DD drinks about 16-20 ounces of milk and the rest water (about 10-15 ounces). After she had the stomach bug she was drinking a TON of fluids that I got worried and spoke with the ped (she was drinking like 50-60 ounces for a few days) he said that at this age they should be getting approximately 30-34 ounces a day of fluids.

She has given up the am milk bottle, so total milk a day is about 16 ozs (2 bottles), and drinks water all day (not sure the total amt)

My DS is 15 months and he drinks about 18 ounces of milk a day ( three 6oz. sippies). He drinks about 8 ounces of water a day.

DD is 19 months and on an average... usually 14 oz of milk a day and 14 oz of water (no juice)
Give or take a few ounces

DD is a huge liquids fan  She gets about 20-24 ounces of milk a day, and then probably close to 15 or so ounces of water a day. She doesn't drink juice.
ETA: She's 18 months

Thomas is almost 21 months. He isn't a big milk drinker. He has 7 oz. - 14 oz. of milk a day (mostly chocolate) and 14 oz. - 21 oz. heavily watered down juice. He eats tons of cheese and yogurt.

D is 18 mths and drinks a lot of fluids. He drinks like 10-12 ounces of milk per day and about 10 ounces of water mixed with juice.
