How much exercising do you do?
I'm not exactly thin I'm 200 lbs and have been trying to lose weight I don't have a vigorous routine but my last new pregnancies I was only 165 by the end so I don't know if I'm harming this baby now. I know they said u can continue doing what you did before just not crazy. But I'm so early and lol afraid to move and as a nurse I'm gonna be boosting patients. We aren't ready to reveal until at least Christmas and have had mc before. I was thinking just healthy eating and walking treadmill but not crazy fast just a normal walk.

I worked out 6 days a week for 45-60 minutes a day from 8 weeks until the day before I had my DS. This primarily included running and some weight training. I would have worked out even in the very beginning, but we did IVF so I did not get the all clear until 8 weeks.
I have worked out more or less since I was a child so I was not too concerned. If you have not been doing an exercise program, I would not start now. I would think power walking and low impact stuff would be fine.

That is outdated information. You should exercise based on perceived exertion.

How much exercising do you do?
At 20 weeks, I'm exercising 4-5 times a week which includes running, barre classes, swimming and prenatal yoga. I was extremely active before pregnancy (was training for a Half Ironman when I found out I was pregnant) so I definitely toned it down. My doctor said that I could continue everything I was doing before.
I will say, I was freaking out in the beginning of my pregnancy with running because it was still very hot out and I felt dehydrated often. I also was running at my normal pace so I turned that down but I definitely had nerves that if something happened with the baby, I would blame myself for exercising too much. I was happy that my doctor encouraged me to keep going though as he thought it would be a shock to my system if I stopped my normal routine.
Not sure if this helps but definitely keeping up some exercise if you feel well enough is good and encouraged by doctors. I was so lucky I didn't have any morning sickness so I was able to keep it up through the first trimester and continue through the second trimester. If you feel good, try to get some workouts in!

Yep, my doctor told me to not even wear my heart rate monitor as that info is outdated---even though I used to train religiously with a heart rate monitor. He told me to just run at a conversational pace and not worry about going over a certain number. I have worn the monitor though (just because I like to know the data) and my heart rate ranges from 140-155 or so during my runs. I'm still able to talk so my LO is definitely getting the oxygen he needs.

Re: How much exercising do you do?
Nothing beyond running after my 3 year old and running all around a school building at work. I'm also on the heavy side and gained 16 lbs. my first pregnancy and so far 2 lbs. this one (I'm 34 weeks).

How much exercising do you do?
13 weeks, and I used to do a lot of HIIT and weights, now I've curbed the HIIT portion - so I do about 20 to 30 mins about 6 days between moderate cardio/weights and yoga.
I also had/have morning sickness (vomiting and all) so I had to take it easier than I would have if I didn't.

Re: How much exercising do you do?
Aside from walking a ton, I did not exercise much throughout this pregnancy. But I wish I did b/c then I think I'd feel better than I do at 38 weeks.
