how much food for an 11 month old
My little guy hates the bottle milk or formula. i am lucky if I get 20 oz in him per day. He eats jarred food still and occasionally table food such as pastina or pancakes. How do i know he is getting enough?

Re: how much food for an 11 month old
20 oz per my ped was the minimum that Kristina should have been getting.....
At 11ish months old, she decided that she was DONE with formula.... I started putting whole milk in her bottle, and she was good with it!
Have you tried introducing more table foods?
At 11 months old, Kristina was strictly on table foods.... She turned her face at baby food.

Re: how much food for an 11 month old
My dr told me that at 12 months my DS portion was a toddler portion, basically a small plate worth, approx 1/2 of an adult portion.
We have a child plate with the dividers and I generally "fill" up all 3 spots, if its meat for dinners its not as full but I give him meat, veggies and potatos/rice etc.
DS has always been a big eater so I generally set his limits. He will eat until he explodes!

Re: how much food for an 11 month old
In terms of liquids, our pediatrician wants DS down to 16 oz of milk a day. So he gets 3 sippy cups of milk during the day filled with 5-6 oz each. He also gets a couple ounces of water before bed time. In terms of solids, he's eating 3 meals a day like a big person. I was told to aim between 750 to 900 calories a day, closer to the 900 calorie mark. He snacks a lot between meals as well (yogurt, cheerios, puffs, small pieces of cheese, etc.) As long as your DS is gaining weight, that's all that matters!
