how much is NYC's GHI insurance?
Anyone have a round about number for what insurance costs per month for NYC teachers with GHI?

seriously.... :)
we pay $15.00 a month for the optional rider, which basically gives you a few more options, but it is not required.
The Welfare Fund (separate from the GHI) is run by the union and is funded by your union dues. This covers your Rx, dental and optical.
