How much money do you spend for a family member's childs birthday?
I have two children and was just curious how much money everyone generally spends for a birthday party being attended with my 2 kids for a cousin's 3rd birthday party.
Would $50.00 be sufficient.
do you spend more? Less? Lets just say its a party taking place at White Post?
I think part of the issue is that I really don't yet know how much these parties cost per child. I don't want to be cheap either.....
How much would you spend?

For birthday's 2 years and up we give/spend 50.00. For my godson it's more.

Mine too.
Esp with my nephews..all their bdays are within 3wks of each other and since there are 4 in that family...I spend $30ish

Depends on which side of the family. DH family spends like $25 for gifts/christmas, etc, so we do the same. My family buys in excess, so we spend a little more for them.

I have so many nieces and nephews, I am starting to cap the amount at 25 bucks. I usually can't resist something at the last minute though, and spend more.

I never, ever spend more than I can afford. My niece just had her 4th b-day in June and my nephew was 1 in August. Together for the two of them I spend less than $50. How did I do it??? I used a 40% off coupon at AC Moore to get my niece's gift (which she totally loves, and tells me whenever I see her how much she loves it), and I bought my nephew a great outfit (jeans, button down shirt, sweater vest) at the Carter's outlet.

it depends.
Between all of our cousins there are so many kids. We usually spend no more than $30 each unless it is a special one (like sweet 16).
I have a new niece (the only niece/nephew that I have) and intend on spoiling her.
