How much to pay a babysitter
How much do you pay your teenage babysitters-first babysitting job? A 7 year old and a 2 year old.

I would say around $7-$8 if it's during the day and a little more at night

I'd say $10/hr is fair.
I agree. College aged babysitters for my 2 wanted 15-20 bucks an hour.

I give my 15 year old nephew $7 an hour - mainly because the kids are in bed & he's IM"ing his friends all night.
Best way to handle it is to ask them what they charge & work from there.
