How much weight loss is possible...
in two months? If I get a personal trainer for 2 days a week and do cardio 4-5 times a week... (and monitor my eating of course! ) I would think like 18-20lbs? Is that a healthy weight loss goal?

I've learned that NONE of my weight loss goals have panned out for me when I put a time limit on them. Since I started this last April I have NEVER met any of my own "deadlines." Not the one for our trip to Europe, or my brothers wedding, or the holidays and not for our upcoming vacation to DR.
I've learned to stop trying to put time on things and just try my best, live and let live.
If you work hard, keep a strict diet and exercise like you say, you WILL see results. But honestly, I wouldn't put a number on it....

1-2 lbs a week is considered healthy and safe....so that's 16 lbs max in 2 months. good luck!

I think it depends. I think it is possible to do it and in a healthy manner. Most people have at least a few pounds of water weight that can be easily lost by watching salt and staying hydrated.
Then, if you watch your diet and exercise as you say you want to it should be no problem.
Remember, it will probably happen very quickly at first and then slow down. Don't get discouraged and keep on going with it. Also, you may lose some and then lose inches without weight if you put on lean muscle.
